"Feeding the demons" an encounter with your inner shadow sides

In this day and age of rapid information, it can be helpful for everyone to clear their mind and deal with their inner shadows in order to find peace and serenity.

"Feeding the Demons" is a form of meditation that gives you the opportunity to look at your personal shadow side and transform it.

We all want to live happily and with a sense of inner freedom. Often something stands in our way and we think it is external obstacles. Most of the time, however, they are unaccepted aspects of ourselves, our own 'demons' that we don't want to see and fight off. In this way, we hope to get rid of them and eliminate our difficulties. But the inner "demons" become more powerful when we fight them.

Using the "five-step protocol" and with the help of a guide, the inner demon is identified, approached, honored and gently transformed, a method developed by Lama Tsültrim Allione. It is a modern variant of the ancient Tibetan Buddhist practice "Chöd", which is based on the Prajna Paramita teachings.

"Chöd was developed by the yogini Machig Lapdrön in the 11th century. The principles of this practice are used to "nourish one's demons" in a way that is often more accessible to Westerners than the sometimes very complex exercises of traditional Tibetan Buddhism.

Course of the event:

  • Attunement with breathing and energy exercises
  • Introduction to the method of the five steps,
  • The practice of feeding the demons
  • Appreciation of the common practice
