Olga Balema: The Distance

Olga Balema: The Distance

  • to 5.00€

The Kunstverein in Hamburg will be presenting new sculptures by Olga Balema; a further elaboration on a series of transparent sculptures made by fusing and bending thin sheets of plastic. So far what exactly will be shown is a surprise because the sculptures will come together on site and not even the artist knows what shape they will take exactly. Last time they were made in varying light condition and without sketches or drawings. Each sculpture aimed at qualities that overlap with the real world, but do not reference or depict anything specific.
