The main stage in the city center is back. Not only will the official opening of the Night of the Churches take place here, but many great choirs and artists will also be guests of our moderators Daniel Kaiser (NDR) and Provost Martin Vetter - on stage.
Events:
- 3:30 p.m. - Colorful afternoon program
Our moderators Daniel Kaiser and Provost Martin Vetter welcome various artists and guests on stage. There are drinks, food and information stands on the stage area. Perfect as a warm-up for the evening, with children or as an evening program, and there's a lot going on.
- 6:00 p.m. - Hamburg Gospel Ambassadors - Gospel, Praise & Feelgood Music
The mighty Gospel Ambassadors, a cheerful gospel choir led by the energetic Folarin Omishade, accompanied by an authentic live band. Powerful, touching, the live connection to the top.
- 19:00 - Official opening of the 21st Night of the Churches Hamburg
Official opening of the Night of the Churches Hamburg 2023 with Hamburg's First Mayor Peter Tschentscher, Bishop Kirsten Fehrs, Archbishop Stefan Heße, ACK Board Member Pastor Uwe Onnen. Afterwards you can meet the bishop, archbishop and pastor and be blessed with a blessing bracelet.
- 20:00 - Jessy Martens and Band
The official blues queen and passionate gospel voice of Hamburg - Live on Stage Jessy impresses with her expressive voice that gets under your skin and touches you deeply. Together with her band, she plays a rousing mix of her own songs and the occasional cover song. From rocky and powerful to quiet tones - one thing is certain: the atmosphere is guaranteed.
- 21:30 - Julian Sengelmann and Band
Jack of all trades and above all Pastor Julian, this time with songs, guests and band. A blessed conclusion for the heart, eyes and ears.
