A particularly popular stand at the Lüneburg Christmas market is Eberhard Schlabach's candle workshop, which has been delighting visitors of all ages for over 40 years. Here, children can make their very own candles: Monday to Friday between 12 and 5 p.m., the expert shows them how to create small works of art from wax, such as dragons, dogs or snails. "Now even the mothers who used to make candles for me come by with their own children," says Schlabach proudly. In addition to the workshop, there is also a selection of special candles and lanterns with individual Lüneburg motifs - perfect for the Christmas season.
