Head of the Cultural Forum Dörte Ahrens invites you to a guided tour of the special exhibition "The Happiness of Painting".
An exhibition by the painter Johannes Helm entitled "The Happiness of Painting" can be seen in the small gallery of the Kulturforum Schleswig-Holstein-Haus until February 9.
On Thursday, January 9, at 4 p.m., Dörte Ahrens will give a guided tour of the exhibition.
Johannes Helm's paintings depict motifs from the Mecklenburg landscape, the course of the year and events from village and town life. Some motifs even border on the fantastic. In the tradition of naive painting, the paintings reveal a very unique, humorous, often melancholy world. In poems and texts written since 1976, Johannes Helm also reflects the tangible world with his special inner gaze and verse.
Admission is €3/reduced €2 plus a €2 guide fee.
The exhibition runs until February 9.
