Whether gently swinging or explosively funky - the Fuzzy Chameleons bring jazz to life and inspire. Two concerts on April 27 at the Schwerin-Mueß open-air museum.
Seven guys from Schwerin have fun with jazz and swing. Their trademark: Every piece lives from spontaneous improvisations - no two concerts sound the same.
The Fuzzy Chameleons are a seven-piece band that stands for energetic, improvisational jazz and combines tradition with modernity. Inspired by greats such as Miles Davis, Erroll Garner and Herbie Hancock, the band moves between classic jazz and groovy jazz-funk.
The name of the band is based on their shared love of the legendary song "Chameleon". This was the first piece they played together. Today they delight their audiences with newly interpreted jazz standards, creative solos and a dynamic sound characterized by double bass, drums, guitar, trumpet, vocals/piano/e-bass, alto, tenor, baritone saxophone and trombone.
The Fuzzy Chameleons will be guests at the Mueßer FrühjahrsErwachen on April 27, 2025. They will play two concerts - at 12:00 and 15:30 - in front of the large sawmill on the lakeshore. Visitors only pay museum admission for the entire day with spring market and large family program. No extra admission for the concerts.
With their funky jazz and happy swing, the Fuzzy Chameleons will awaken the spirits of spring in Mueß.
