From the Berlin Wall Trail to the European Cycle Route

An extraordinary lecture with Michael Cramer, former Member of the European Parliament
The Berlin Wall Trail marks the course of the former border fortifications to West Berlin. In a way, it is the forerunner of the European cycle route "Iron Curtain", which runs as Euro-VeloRoute 13 (EV 13) along the western border of the former Warsaw Pact states from the Norwegian-Russian border to the Black Sea. It is thanks to the persistent initiative of former Berlin local politician Michael Cramer that the Wall Trail is now signposted and has been made cycle-friendly.
