Book babies

Book babies

  • for families and kids
  • Free of charge

The "book babies" are aimed at toddlers aged zero to three years and their (grand)parents. With songs, rhymes and finger plays, children can practise speaking in a playful way and develop a feeling for the rhythm of language. This is not only great fun, but also creates a good and important basis for language development and later reading skills. There is also time for stimulating exchanges with each other. The schedule is similar every month and there are fixed program points that are repeated. This is because rituals give the children a sense of security and safety.

This year, the meetings will take place from 16.01.2025 to 13.11.2025, once a month on Thursdays from 9.30 a.m. in the Ludwigslust City Library. The maximum number of participants is limited to 10 children.

The offer is free of charge. Registration is now possible by phone: 03874-526240, by email to bibliothek@ludwigslust.de or directly via this page.
